Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using https://mrpainterdubai.com or any service we provide, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the platform.

2. Role of Mr Painter Dubai

Mr Painter Dubai is a marketplace that introduces homeowners and businesses to independent painting contractors. We are not a party to the painting contract between you and the painter. Each painter is responsible for the services they provide, their licensing, insurance and warranty obligations.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and have authority to request painting services for the property in question (owner or authorised tenant). Misrepresentation may result in cancellation and removal from the platform.

4. Quotes and bookings

• Quotes you receive are issued by the painter, not Mr Painter Dubai.
• Quotes are typically valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• Final pricing is locked in writing after the painter's site survey.
• Scope changes after the survey require a written variation order.

5. Payments

Payment terms are agreed directly between you and the painter. Mr Painter Dubai does not collect or process payment for the painting service itself. Common terms are 30-50% on commencement and the balance on completion. Never pay 100% upfront.

6. Workmanship and warranty

All painters on Mr Painter Dubai are required to provide a minimum 12-month workmanship warranty. Exterior coatings can have warranties up to 5 years. Warranty terms (what's covered, exclusions, claim process) are provided in writing by the painter at quote stage. Warranty claims should be raised first with the painter; if not resolved within 7 days, contact Mr Painter Dubai at hello@mrpainterdubai.com.

7. Reviews

You may leave a review after a completed job. Reviews must be honest and reflect your real experience. Reviews containing personal attacks, false claims, profanity or commercial interests may be removed. Mr Painter Dubai does not edit reviews to favour vendors.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation terms are set by the painter and disclosed in the quote. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of start) typically attract a small mobilisation fee. Refunds for unsatisfactory work are handled per the painter's warranty terms, with Mr Painter Dubai mediation if needed.

9. Disputes

We strongly encourage direct resolution between homeowner and painter. If that fails, contact Mr Painter Dubai and we will mediate at no cost to either party. Unresolved disputes will be governed by UAE law and the courts of the Emirate of Dubai.

10. Limitation of liability

Mr Painter Dubai is not liable for the work product, conduct, or warranty performance of any individual painter. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the platform fee paid by the painter for your lead. Painters carry their own AED 1M+ third-party liability insurance for damage to property.

11. Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse Mr Painter Dubai by scraping data, submitting false quote requests, impersonating others, posting fake reviews, or attempting to bypass our vendor matching to circumvent platform standards.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Intellectual property

All content on Mr Painter Dubai — including written guides, area descriptions, service pages, vendor profiles, photography, the brand mark and the website design — is owned by Mr Painter Dubai LLC or licensed to it. You may not republish, scrape, mirror, or syndicate Mr Painter Dubai content without written permission. Quotes received from individual painters belong to those painters and remain their commercial property. Reviews you submit are licensed to us perpetually for display on the platform but you retain ownership of the underlying review text.

14. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mr Painter Dubai to: solicit painters for off-platform projects in a way that circumvents our quality standards; harass vendors or other users through the platform's messaging; submit false reviews or fraudulent quote requests; reverse-engineer the platform; or use automated tools to scrape vendor or pricing data. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and recovery of any damages caused.

15. Quality fund

Mr Painter Dubai maintains a quality fund to cover bona fide disputes where a vendor cannot or will not honour their warranty. The fund covers up to AED 5,000 per project for documented workmanship issues that the vendor has failed to remedy within 30 days. The fund is not insurance and is not transferable — it is operated at Mr Painter Dubai's discretion and is intended as a last-resort safety net rather than a primary warranty mechanism.
